Arthur Laurents' novel, Leonard Bernstein’s score, and Stephen Sondheim’s lyrics bring Shakespeare’s iconic love story Romeo and Juliet to life in a modern-day, emotionally-charged setting. With New York City as its backdrop, this landmark musical is lauded as one of the most innovative, heart-wrenching, and relevant musical dramas of our time. The Miami Valley Symphony Orchestra and Dayton Playhouse join forces at the APAC once again to present a fully-staged production, with an incredible cast of actors, singers, dancers, and orchestral musicians, to delight the greater Dayton area this November!
